I bought my gun safe in January 08, the keypad quit in March 08 and the lock had to be drilled and replaced. I have to hit the safe with my fist before the lock mechanism will work with the key pad. After repeated attempts to get Cannon to take care of the problem I contacted the big box store I got it from and they are going to take it back. Cannon has stopped answering my e-mails, no read receipts acknowledged after sending them pictures of the problems. This has gone on since November 08.
The fire seal on the door came loose and they just sent me one to install myself, I haven't figured out how to get it in correctly yet.

I recently bought a Cannon Safe (EX14) on sale ($550) from Costco.com a few months back. Nothing but good things to report. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of it considering its their entry level safe. I was expecting 4-6 weeks delivery time too, had it within a week tho! Truck driver even pulled it into my garage for me. woohoo!!
